| This vacation rental home is located in Akumal 65 miles south of Cancun in the heart of the Mexican Mayan Riviera. It boasts a beautiful main beach and is an excellent location for snorkeling. Akumal is as its name says in Mayan the "place of turtle"! During the whole year you can see many turtles while snorkeling in the Main Bay and Half Moon Bay. Further south of Akumal (approximately 2.5 miles) you will get to South Akumal Bay. South Akumal Bay has a direct access from the high way. It’s a gated private community, very quiet bay with vacation rental homes and one small condo complex. South Akumal has one of the most beautiful sandy beaches with powder white sand. Akumal is also very popular for divers. There are two great dive shops on the Main Bay and one on Half Moon Bay that offer professional services with plenty of activities. Read more about > Akumal Casa las Hamacas is located in South Akumal about 2 miles south of Akumal on a beautiful sandy beach. Akumal has one of the most beautiful beaches of the cost Riviera Maya. It includes Main Akumal, Jade Bay and South Akumal, which is about 60 miles south of Cancun Airport. Casa las Hamacas is a gorgeous 2 level rental house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms on a white sandy beach with a spectacular view of the Mexican Caribbean. The master suite is on the upper floor and has a large bath and shower. The other bedroom is downstairs and has also it's own bathroom. To get to the house entrance you pass a beautiful tropical garden. The living- and dining rooms are decorated with nice wall paintings and the house is well furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped, where you can prepare your own meals. But there is also a cook who would prepare the most delicious and traditional meals of Mexico/Yucatan for you. There are huge terraces with palapa roofs that really give this villa a special charm. There is also a guest house which is a one bedroom suite with kitchen and bathroom. The villa is surrounded by jungle and ocean - it lets you feel like you are in paradise! It is very private because it is the last villa in South Akumal. You have your own private beach - even in high season.
