| This vacation rental home is located in Akumal 65 miles south of Cancun in the heart of the Mexican Mayan Riviera. It boasts a beautiful main beach and is an excellent location for snorkeling. Akumal is as its name says in Mayan the "place of turtle"! During the whole year you can see many turtles while snorkeling in the Main Bay and Half Moon Bay. Akumal is also very popular for divers. There are two great dive shops on the Main Bay and one on Half Moon Bay that offer professional services with plenty of activities. Following the road you will get to the next bay which is called Half Moon Bay, just a couple minutes driving by car. And at the end of the bay you will arrive to Yalku Lagoon, another great spot for snorkeling and swimming. Read more about > Akumal Casa Milagro is a recently refurbished 2 story, 2 bedroom holiday home just yards from beautiful Yalku Lagoon and five minutes walk from Half Moon Bay. The charm of Milagro lies in its decoration, which features unique Mexican furnishings, art and artifacts throughout the property. Casa Milagro’s entrance opens onto a patio with a small sitting area, leading straight through to the pool and its fabulous tropical gardens. Just off the patio is the doorway to the open planned first floor, which includes a living area with ample seating for 6 people, satellite TV and stereo, a dining area with a large carved wooden table and a fully equipped kitchen. This area is ideal for entertaining: the kitchen has all you need to put together a feast for your party or you could hire a cook to prepare a typical Mexican meal in the comfort of your own holiday home. All three bedrooms have air-conditioning. The Guest bedroom is located on the first floor and features a King size bed and a separate bathroom. The Master suite is on the first floor and also has a King size bed as well as its own bathroom and satellite TV. A third bedroom can be found in the villa’s guesthouse and includes a double bed, a private bathroom and separate living area with a double futon. Adjacent to the Master suite is a den with a day bed which is also perfect as a child's bedroom. The den leads onto an outdoor terrace with a table and chairs and up to the rooftop deck, with fabulous views of the ocean. The deck is partially covered and you can rest in the shade, with a good book during the day. It is the ideal spot to enjoy a pre-dinner drink as the sun is setting and it is the perfect stargazing spot. Casa Milagro has access to the extraordinary Yalku lagoon. Grab your mask and snorkel and head 2 minutes down the road to this aquarium-like lagoon where you will be able to submerse yourself in its cool waters and swim with its tropical fish.
